The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has Team U.S. favored by -4 ½ points with the over under line at 292 points.

The way the format has been set is Team U.S. and World will have on their roster a combination of 10 rookies and sophomores.

Team U.S will feature the following notable players such as Devin Booker from the Suns, Brandon Ingram of the Lakers, Karl Anthony Towns of Minnesota and Myles Turner of the Indiana Pacers. Karl Anthony Towns has been the team leader for the Minnesota Timberwolves. He is averaging nearly 24 points per game and pulling down 12 rebounds per contest. His 51.6% shooting percentage is tops on the club. First round pick of the LA Lakers Brandon Ingram was unable to crack the starting lineup. The rookie is averaging 27 minutes a game and is only shooting 36.2% from the floor and averaging 8 points per game. Devin Booker has been a solid contributor in Phoenix with a 21 point per game average in his 34 ½ minutes per game. Myles Turner in his second year has saw his numbers rise to 15.6 points per game average and leads the Pacers. Turner also leads his team with 7.2 rebounds per game.

On the World Rising Stars the notables on the roster will be Buddy Hield of the home team New Orleans Pelicans, Kristaps Porzingis of the New York Knicks, Dario Saric of the 76ers and Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets. About the only good bit of news in New York has been the play of rookie Kristaps Porzingis. The rookie leads the Knicks with 7.1 rebounds per game and is averaging 18.3 points per contest. Nikola Jokic a second year man for the Nuggets leads the team with 16.3 points and 8.9 rebounds per game along with 57.8% shooting. Dario Saric is averaging nearly 11 points in his 24 minutes per game average this season. Rookie Buddy Hield was highly touted coming out of Oklahoma as a rookie this year. He plays alongside All Star Anthony Davis. Hield is seeing 20 minutes per game and has an 8.6 points per game average. His accuracy is only 39.2% from the floor so that may explain his limited minutes.
